The best way to set up for a new RV hookup site is to make a versatile station. Here we have my favorite way to set up such a station. It includes power in, a dedicated panel, and the RV hook up panel that can adapt to either the 30 or 50 amp plugs, with a 20 amp GFCI for items such as heat tape to keep hoses from freezing. Additionally, there's space to add additional items such as a private meter if the owner decides to rent out the space
